Positivity and Youtube!!!!!

Okay, so my last post on here was full of all the negative events that have filled this year for me. I really don't like that I posted it. I honestly debated about taking it down, but I want this place to be truthful. If I deleted that post, then I would be hiding apart of myself. I cannot do that. In order to heal the wounds from the past, I have to work through the emotions that come with each event in my life. Having said all that, I cannot leave that as my most recent post! So here is some positivity!!!! As some you may know, I had a knee injury a few years back that really disabled me for 2 years. during that time I gained a lot of weight, like 100 pounds. It got me really down because this was truly out of my control. I had so much pain that I was unable to stand for more than a couple minutes. Sitting was also very painful, there was no position that I could find where I wasn't in pain. This went on for about 6 months before I had my surgery. So then after surgery, I wa...

My 2020 Thus far...

I know that the year 2020 has been rough for everyone. I also know that my story is small in comparison to what others have been through. However I feel like I need to get this out of my head and hopefully it can help me process. On New Years Eve of 2019 my ex boyfriend was sick. New Years day he went to work but felt so sick and was so out  of it that he clocked out and drove home. Upon arriving there, his dad immediately took him to stat care because he was in such bad condition. Stat care sent him to the ER immediately and from there, they put him into a medically induced coma. they treated him for what they thought was pneumonia. but after 2 weeks of him not getting better, actually getting worse and starting to go into multi-system organ failure, they transferred him to Summa Health in Akron. There they did everything they could think of to make him better. He was on a dialysis machine for the whole month of January. He had ups and downs. Good days where we thought he wa...

Impending Surgery

Hey all, It has been quite a while since I posted anything on here, and I apologize for that.  I have been going through a lot of physical therapy to help the situation with my knee.  My original doctor gave me absolutely no help, so I went for a second opinion. The new doctor knew i needed surgery, but wouldn't agree to do it unless I proved to him that I would put the work into my rehab. So, he sent me back to Physical Therapy for 2 months to prove my case. I went back to him on July 9th and he scheduled my surgery for the 26th. Needless to say, I am so happy to finally get some help. It has been nearly a year since this pain in my knee started and I finally am going to get it fixed!  my husband and I moved our bed into the living room on the first floor, and we had to purchase a bedside commode for when i come home from surgery. The house is nearly set up entirely and now all we have to do it wait. i got all my pre surgery testing done today and that all went really ...

Legs, Tea and Cakes

Hello Everyone!!!!!! Sorry that it has been a while since I have posted anything. Life has been crazy. Since my last post where I did a big health update while waiting to find out what was going on inside my leg, I have found some answers and found another passion. My Leg: So I got to FINALLY see the Orthopedic Surgeon on January 31st! Well, let's be honest, it wasn't actually the Ortho surgeon but a resident who was working there.  He took a look at my knee and had some fun pulling my leg in every direction that it could go, as some directions that it couldn't. After looking at it he determined that....wait for it.....I needed to get an MRI! I know, Big Shock. (If you have been following my blog then you know that I knew i needed an MRI since basically October) So, he sent me on my way with a work order to get an MRI done. We scheduled the MRI that day with the Ortho office and also scheduled a follow up appointment. So now i have to wait 2 weeks to get my MRI. Oh, h...

Passing Fancies

Well, like I have stated in the past, I change my hobbies very frequently. I am still working on the Doctor Who video, still working on my Hogwarts painting as well as a commissioned Gryffindor painting. But today i have spent my time cleaning my bedroom since, yesterday Adam and I enlisted the help of B to completely rearrange our room! So naturally things were everywhere and I needed to reorganize the clothing and such. I also spent some time coloring in my coloring book and now I am about to line a box with fabric. I felt I should update my day today since this is indeed how much I change the different crafting things I do.  Signing off for now. *Keep the Magic Alive*

Happy New Year! Health Update!

Hello Everyone!!!!!!!! Happy New Year!!!!!!!! Well, as it turns out, I am a horrible blogger (hehe). It has been three months since I have been on here to do any sort of updates, and so much has happened since then! I have a feeling this is going to be quite a long entry so, bear with me here. G.I.S.H.W.H.E.S At the beginning of August, I took part in my very first gishwhes, which stands for "the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen". What an awesome challenge this was! I did it with 2 of my friends and we spent the week doing tasks that were strange to say the least. For more information on what gishwhes is please visit their website!  www.gishwhes.com  During this week one of our challenges was to go to a ghost town and photograph or record at least Six Ghosts doing everyday things. We went out to Boston Mills (Helltown) Ohio and hiked our way down to the old barn that still stands. While down there, I went to take a step and my leg just didn...
