Positivity and Youtube!!!!!

 Okay, so my last post on here was full of all the negative events that have filled this year for me. I really don't like that I posted it. I honestly debated about taking it down, but I want this place to be truthful. If I deleted that post, then I would be hiding apart of myself. I cannot do that. In order to heal the wounds from the past, I have to work through the emotions that come with each event in my life.


Having said all that, I cannot leave that as my most recent post! So here is some positivity!!!!


As some you may know, I had a knee injury a few years back that really disabled me for 2 years. during that time I gained a lot of weight, like 100 pounds. It got me really down because this was truly out of my control. I had so much pain that I was unable to stand for more than a couple minutes. Sitting was also very painful, there was no position that I could find where I wasn't in pain. This went on for about 6 months before I had my surgery. So then after surgery, I was bed ridden for about 2 months or so but my full recovery took about 9 months. All of this doesnt sound very positive, I know, but I needed the backstory there. So after I was finally fully recovered, I weighed 430 pounds. I stayed at that weight basically until the end of 2019. As of yesterday, I am down to 385 pounds! I know its still a lot but......45 pounds lost in 10 months!!!!!!!!!! I call that a huge win! Especially considering I couldn't go to the gym and swim. First because of covid, and then I had some seriously bad diarrhea due to some medicine my doctor had put me on.


The other Big positive I have found is once again, getting back into crafting! I have been filming a lot my crafting and nail art for my you tube channel! I am really enjoying it! I have been trying to stick to a 2 video per week schedule. It keeps my mind from going to dark places :) Below I will post some photos of what I have already put on youtube as well as my channel link!  I hope everyone can find something positive each day!

My 2020 Thus far...

 I know that the year 2020 has been rough for everyone. I also know that my story is small in comparison to what others have been through. However I feel like I need to get this out of my head and hopefully it can help me process. On New Years Eve of 2019 my ex boyfriend was sick. Impending Surgery

Hey all, It has been quite a while since I posted anything on here, and I apologize for that.  I have been going through a lot of physical therapy to help the situation with my knee.  My original doctor gave me absolutely no help, so I went for a second opinion. The new doctor knew i needed surgery, but wouldn't agree to do it unless I proved to him that I would put the work into my rehab. So, he sent me back to Physical Therapy for 2 months to prove my case. I went back to him on July 9th and he scheduled my surgery for the 26th. Needless to say, I am so happy to finally get some help. It has been nearly a year since this pain in my knee started and I finally am going to get it fixed!  my husband and I moved our bed into the living room on the first floor, and we had to purchase a bedside commode for when i come home from surgery.
