Impending Surgery

Hey all,

It has been quite a while since I posted anything on here, and I apologize for that.  I have been going through a lot of physical therapy to help the situation with my knee.  My original doctor gave me absolutely no help, so I went for a second opinion. The new doctor knew i needed surgery, but wouldn't agree to do it unless I proved to him that I would put the work into my rehab. So, he sent me back to Physical Therapy for 2 months to prove my case. I went back to him on July 9th and he scheduled my surgery for the 26th. Needless to say, I am so happy to finally get some help. It has been nearly a year since this pain in my knee started and I finally am going to get it fixed!  my husband and I moved our bed into the living room on the first floor, and we had to purchase a bedside commode for when i come home from surgery. The house is nearly set up entirely and now all we have to do it wait. i got all my pre surgery testing done today and that all went really well,  plus I got fitted for my post op leg brace and got the ice therapy machine. I haven't really let myself be nervous about the surgery, but I am sure that the day of i will be nervous. I tend to worry about other things like the bills we wont be able to pay while I am off work and in recovery. I did start a GoFundMe page for people to donate if they wish. Hopefully everything will work out in the end.

 Okay, so my last post on here was full of all the negative events that have filled this year for me. I really don't like that I posted it. I honestly debated about taking it down, but I want this place to be truthful. If I deleted that post, then I would be hiding apart of myself. I cannot do that. My 2020 Thus far...

 I know that the year 2020 has been rough for everyone. I also know that my story is small in comparison to what others have been through. However I feel like I need to get this out of my head and hopefully it can help me process. On New Years Eve of 2019 my ex boyfriend was sick. New Years day he went to work but felt so sick and was so out  of it that he clocked out and drove home. Upon arriving there, his dad immediately took him to stat care because he was in such bad condition. Stat care sent him to the ER immediately and from there, they put him into a medically induced coma. they treated him for what they thought was pneumonia. but after 2 weeks of him not getting better, actually getting worse and starting to go into multi-system organ failure, they transferred him to Summa Health in Akron.
