Inktober and Cooking

So day two of this little blog here.  I'm sitting here watching Paranormal Witness on T.V.. Tonight I made beef tips with green peppers, onions, and red quinoa for dinner which was actually pretty tasty. Adam really liked it. All I can smell right now is the chocolate chip cookies that just came out of the oven. Oh man, do they smell good! Today at work I was talking to C and showing him some of the Bob's Burgers characters I drew this week with marker, and he asked me if it was for Inktober. I had no idea what that was but it is a really cool thing! Apparently for the month of October, artists draw a picture a day in ink to help hone their skills a bit. What a cool concept! I had no idea it was like, a thing. Well, today is the 12th, and this month I have already done 6 ink drawings (all Bob's Burgers) so i thought, I'm gonna do it! so I am going to attempt to do 2 drawings a day to get caught up and then switch to 1 a day to keep it going! I am super excited about this!

Artwork and drawing is one of the many passions in my life that I started about 2 years ago. I would never have had the courage to attempt painting anything for like real, if it had not been for the encouragement of C. He is such an amazing artist and I just always thought "there is no way i could ever be half as good as he is". But I kept trying and practicing and now I have actually sold some of my artwork! Such a cool thing to say!

Anyway, I'm going to eat one (or more) of these cookies I baked and sign off for the night!
